Is the bond controller compatible with Grandekor motorized blinds? I don’t see the FCC code on the back of the remote. I suppose I could take it apart and see if there is a code in the inside. Took the remote apart. No FCC code anywhere. Just AC2101-01A label on the remote.
My intuition based on the look & feel of this remote is that it is 2.4 GHz (and so unsupported). You could confirm by checking part numbers from the chips inside the remote if you really wanted to.
(Wow there are a lot of different shade remotes out there.)
I tried and could never get the AC2101-01A remote to pair with the Bond Bridge. However, I was successful getting the very similar AC2100-01A remote to pair. In fact, for the shades that I bought (“Denfoon” on Amazon), the small white cardboard box that contained the remote control had both the AC2100-01A and the AC2101-01A models listed on the outside of the box with check boxes, with one or the other checked off.
Incidentally, looking at the bottom of the AC2101-01A remote control, it does indicate that it is 433MHz as is the AC2100-01A.
@ gsimple, perhaps you could try buying an AC2100-01A and see if it pairs with your shades. If it does, then you could use that to program the Bond using the “generic shades” option.
I have bought the same Denfoon Shades from Amazon.
At first I encoutered an issue trying to Custom Map the remote. The Bond would detect the Signal and Turn on the Green LED, but the App would fail to control the shades. I retried the code multiple times and it never worked.
I was able to Custom map the remote, but what I noticed is that I had to map the functions opposite to each other. i.e Open in the App was mapped to Close on the remote. I then Flipped the motor on the Shades to reverse direction. I had to do this for all of the 6 Shades I received.
I am curious to see if you encountered the same issue and were you able to use any of the built in Shade options to pair with the Shade automatically.
