I’m trying to add my Dimplex electric fireplace to my new Bond, I was able to add my ceiling fan but I can’t get the fireplace to recognize the remote, has anyone been able to add one yet?
What’s odd is I can’t find any FCC info on the inside or outside of the remote.
same here. trying to add the remote for the XLF74. Anyone know anything regarding it? Best thing I can find is that the remote is called Mood maker remote.
OK, figured it out. YOU HAVE TO INSTALL THE BETA FIRMWARE for the bond home. Once you install the beta firmware, when you add the device, go to advanced setting and change it from AUTO to INFRARED. You can then add the Dimplex remote by following the instructions. With infrared, you need line of sight to control the fireplace.
