Has anyone used their Bond to control a Dimplex fireplace equipped with its BFRC-KIT? The home’s previous owner did not leave the remote. Dimplex will only sell me a new kit to install. I hope to identify the required frequencies in order to test and program the Bond manually.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
If you share the FCC ID from the back of the remote we can help. With just the model number, we’d need to buy the product to be able to investigate.
I just purchased a Bond Bridge to control my Dimplex fireplace as well. There is no FCC ID printed on the remote at all. I took the remote apart to see if they hid the FCC ID in the remote. While there, I noticed that they use a Bluetooth chip, not an RF chip, for talking to the fireplace. Unfortunately, Bond Bridge will not be able to control a Dimplex fireplace.
