Bond stays gray, will not reset to green or blue

I have tried multiple times to reset my bond bridge but it will not reset. The center ring light is gray with 2 blue led lights in the center that are on. when i put a paper clip in the reset port, nothing happens, the lights don’t flash, it doesn’t blink nothing happens. I even unplugged it for over a day and when i plug it bag in, it’s the same grey circle with 2 blue led lights.
Is this bond bridge salvageable?

Hey Dan,

Sorry to hear about that situation. It sounds like one of the flash partitions is having trouble booting. I’d suggest trying a “rescue reset” which will go back to original firmware that shipped on the unit. Then you can try upgrading again:

Hi,

I have done the rescue reset 3 times and it still has a gray ring light and 2 led blue center lights
Any other suggestions?

One of my ZZ units (one without a backup :loudly_crying_face:) experienced this last week – after a firmware update, I believe.
3 blue LEDs, looks 'grey’ish.

No amount of holding the reset appears to do anything.
Holding reset while plugging in blinks blue, goes 5 red LED, blinks 1 blue, then settles on 2 steady blue LEDs.
Manual power cycling after this produces just the 2 steady blue LEDs immediately.
This also happens if I release reset as soon as 5 reds come on.

same here… a firmware update messed mine up. but it will boot blue, work for about 30 min and then need to reboot to get it to work for 30 min

@merck - y’all have an RCA on this?
The additional occurrences documented here have me curious how widespread this may end up being.
