Purchased some Blindster roller shades over a year ago, and have had issues with them working properly with Bond Bridge ever since. The way these shades work is you set up a bottom stop with the remote and when you push down on the remote, the shades go down to that saved position. Hit the down button again, and the shades roll out to the end; essentially in a bunch on the floor.
When I programmed the remote with the Bond Bridge, the shades go all the way down and not to the predefined stop. I’ve re-paired the remote with the Bond Bridge numerous times, and the Bond Bridge has been rebooted several times since then with no change in behavior.
I reached out to Blindster and they told me that the motors are AOK and the remote is from Vertilux. The remote has the following on the back: 230617F0101417, Model: AC-06D, Frequency 433.92MHz. When I added the remote to Bond Bridge, it believed the remote to be Allen & Roth.
For reference, I have a dozen other devices working through my Bond Bridge and this is the only device that is giving me headaches. I suppose I could take the shade off the roller and trim the excess off, but that would raise significant eyebrows from the wife and I’d rather not go that route if I can avoid it.
Thanks!
