I noticed in the advanced setting page of my bond bridge app there was a HomeKit integration. I found this forum and it appears that there is firmware support that was buggy in v4.32.x but may have gotten better in v4.34.x I tried to add the bridge to my apple home but was prompted with a failure after inputting the code: “Accessory out of Compliance” I tried to do it again but I can no longer get the accessory to show up in HomeKit, even after power cycling the Bond Bridge.
Following with interest. To date, Apple has permitted uncertified AHK devices to connect with a warning shown to user and some restrictions on marketing. I want to know if there’s been any change here. Clearly this is something we could try on our side unilaterally @igoraltvidal
I had to reset my Bond Pro Bridge HomeKit connection at a rental property, and I also now get “Accessory out of Compliance”. I have FW “v4.34.1”. I am using iOS 26.5
For the time being I have switched over to using the homebridge-bond plugin for HomeBridge for controlling the shades.
Thanks for the tip on the new iOS version. Seems to be something that bit a few others. We’ve got a fix, you’ll get it early this week in a beta v4.37.11 most likely.
