HomeKit Issues after Firmware Upgrade

my bond app just indicated that my bridge needed a firmware update to v4.32.7

after the upgrade (which went fine) i noticed that the devices exposed to HomeKit (shades) that had been working fine, were showing that they weren’t getting updates.

i rebooted my current bridge (apple tv) just to make sure that wasn’t the issue - and nothing changed.

i deleted the bridge from HomeKit, then went to bond and disabled the HomeKit integration, rebooted the bond device, and when it came back up re-enabled HomeKit integration.

when i go to HomeKit and click add - then accessory, then more options. the bond bridge doesn’t show up there.

i clicked my accessory isn’t shown here, then enter the code that bond said it was using for HomeKit integration. HomeKit returns to the previous screen without adding the bridge.

is there something i need to do in order to re-integrate the bond bridge into HomeKit? i really don’t want to reset it - i have quite a number of fans and shades, and would rather not have to re-configure all of those from scratch.

thanks!

I had the same issues with my ceiling fans. Downgrading the firmware fixed the problem.

thanks for confirming @fanfan.

in the meantime - I went ahead and enabled the bond integration on my hubitat c8 pro, and then exposed my fans, awnings and shades to HomeKit via the hubitat homekit integration.

things seem stable and are working great at this point. I think I’ll hold out with this configuration as long as it keeps working well.

Same issue here on 4.23.7 - thanks for your post.

Shared my details here just FYI: 4.32.7 HomeKit Broken / Regression - Accessory Out of Compliance

How did you downgrade / roll back the firmware, if I can ask @fanfan

In the bond app . Bridge > Firmware version > 3 dots on upper right corner

Thanks! Happy to report firmware rollback worked.
