I’m in the framing stage of a large high end residential project and our plan is for Somfy RS485 motors, SI Janus Power, Troy Communication paired with Bond Sidekicks and a Bond Bridge Pro. I’d like to use Sidekick with Bond Bridge for a number of reasons, but since these remotes will not be hardwired, will I have issues with shade delay? More specifically, upon pushing a botton on the Sidekick for shade movement, will there be a delay until the shade actually moves? A fully baked home automation protocol is not desired by the client and I’d rather not hardwire a Somfy Decoflex remote, primarily due to the dated aesthetic. Would love some thoughts!

Hey @stevek
From our testings, from pressing the sidekick buttons to the shades moving is less than 1s. It works basically as fast as the OEM remotes.
We also strongly recommend using the link channel between the Sidekick and the Bond Bridge. This will help both devices stay synchronized when the UP/DOWN/HOLD buttons are pressed.
Hope it helps

Thanks Endy, appreciate the prompt reply! Not sure what’s wrong then, as at my home, it seems much longer. Any tips?
