I just recently receive a Bond Bridge, but there was a solid 2 sec (sometimes 3 second delay) between when the command is pressed on the Bond App and when it’s executed by the fan. The ceiling fan with light is RF. When testing this, I moved the Bond Bridge in the same room as the ceiling fan sitting about 3’ off ground. It’s even worse when not in the same room. I tested by turning the ceiling fan light on & off. I was able to shave off a second by moving the Bond Bridge from our IoT network to our main network, which is less than ideal, but I guess it’s okay… Anything else I should look at to make the performance more instantaneous or at least drop that down to a consistent 1 sec delay or is this pretty on par with the course? Admittedly, we do not have the best ISP since Starlink is our only viable option where we live. Our latency is typically anywhere between 20-30 ms. From what I observed, there is about a 1 sec delay between when a button is pressed on the App and when the blue circle blinks on the Bond Bridge. Then, another 1 sec delay from when the blue circle blinks and when the ceiling fan light responded.
Also, if anyone knows a way to record iPhone screen, use the app, and record a video at the same time, I’d be more than happy to post a video of the delays.
