I’ve been using Bond since the summer of 2025. Bought it to have easier access to control 5 Progressive shades (mixture of screens and vinyls).
Am also using it to control a ceiling fan, although I haven’t been able to connect it successfully to an another fan. Oh well.
I like having the ability to have Bond widgets on our iPhones and iPads… and to use Alexa to run routines.
Linked it to a SmartThings hub and use their scheduler to run a nightly routine to lower the shades… the Bond app’s scheduler was problematic for me.
Just recently linked the SmartThing’s hub to an Ambient Weather station to lower the vinyl shades if the weather station detects rain. That too some effort, but seems very slick.
All in all, a pretty good product. Not perfect, but pretty good.
