Fanimation Prop remote suggestion works, but won't save to bridge

I’ve been a BD-1000 owner for one day and I’m running firmware v4.7.1.2. I have a Fanimation Prop 60" fan with a basic 8 button remote that has FCC ID CHQRH787T, which I looked up in the compatibility database before purchase.

In the iOS app, my first attempt to learn the Fan Stop button resulted in a list of suggested remotes. One named “A3b (6 speeds, Direction, No Light)” worked perfectly right off the bat. I was pretty psyched that I got a good match so quickly! However, when I attempted to save it, I got an error message that it couldn’t be saved and a suggestion to update the firmware to resolve the issue.

The only update I hadn’t applied was v4.7.2.1-beta. After updating to v4.7.2.1-beta, none of the suggested models work. Manual learning also doesn’t work. Suggestions?

Hello Yams ,

Thank you for reaching out to us with this issue.
We are aware of it, and it will be fixed soon.
In the meantime, you can use the “A3A” template, edit it, and remove the lights.

Hi Igor, thanks for the reply! The iOS app is no longer suggesting a remote template when I try to learn buttons, and none of the manually learned buttons I’ve assigned are functioning either. I downgraded to Stable firmware and I’m getting the same behavior.

Hi Yams,

I’d like to check our internal logs for better debugging.
If that’s okay with you,
could you please share your Bond-ID with me via DM?
