Does bond support wpa2/wpa3 security

I just tried setting up my bond bridge on my wpa2/wpa3 security. The first time I tried it saw my network, was able to connect to it after entering credentials. I then had to reset it, and this time it refused to see my network ssid despite trying a few times. I changed my network to wpa2 only and this time in was able to set up the bridge.

So my question it does bond bridge support wpa2/wpa3? Why was it able to set it up the first time but not subsequently ?

The hardware is capable of WPA3 and our vendor has it implemented, but requires some heavy firmware work for us to bring it in. Wild guess, we may support it sometime mid next year.
