Ceiling fan power off works during setup testing, but never again

Bond Bridge on firmware 4.7.7 recently setup with 3 different brand ceiling fans. Quirky setup issues on two of them, but they’re both working fine now.

Third one (GE) initially looked like it was going to work great. Quickly found the profile and all commands were tested during setup and they all worked. Finished the setup and now they all work except the fan power off.

GE Model: FAN61T-4SP
FCC ID: 2AAZPFAN61T4SP

Tried manually learning commands and it never learns the fan power toggle correctly (ie it never functions during testing).

Please help me sort out this last issue.

I managed to get it to work (I think at least for now) with fully learning it all. But someone should look at the signal for the fan power toggle associated with the FCC ID in the bond database. It’s definitely not working after the testing phase.

I may be mistaken but I suspect based on some of my fan remotes, your power toggle is not actually be what you expect. The FAN61T4SP manual of the remote shows that there is only a separate off button for the fan and the on function is provided by the the + - buttons.

That may be, but that makes it even clearer that it’s not functioning as intended because the power button in the profile was failing to turn off the fan.

When I use the original remote, the power toggle does turn the fan on (to the last speed used) and turn it off. So it would seem that the original remote does function like a true toggle.

For additional information, this is the remote

I would have to dig out paperwork to find the fan model number.

Your remote is a newer model while I found the instruction for the same model # from 2015 and a picture showing a different knob configuration. So this leaves me to guess the HW is changed and the Bond reference may be out of date.

That would make sense. My fan was purchased in 2019 IIRC.
