Updating controller commands

I have a faulty motor for a blind which needs to be replaced.

The motor is currently linked to savant via bond. Is there a way to update the command signal from the old to new motor, without creating a new device?

I am concerned creating a new device will break the integration to savant.

Yea you can. Replace the motor, then use the Pair/Unpair or Virtual Remote Control options in Device Settings to pair the existing device in the app to the new motor. This is the way to preserve integrations.
