Triggering Bond commands from Lutron QSX?

Hi there,

Trying to see if this is possible.

We have a customer who has an existing Lutron QSX System. We are looking to install a outdoor shade for them, that communicates via a Bond Bridge Pro. Ideally, we would like to have a Lutron buttonpress issue a command to the Bond, to tell the shade to raise or lower. In the Lutron QSX software, I can issue a Ascii, or hex command via telnet.

Has anyone done this with success, and if so, how would I find the commands to spit out?

Thanks in advance.

Jay

What about the QSX controller listening for the button presses and just sending an IP based API command to the Bond controller?

Thanks, its kind of the opposite, in that the QSX will send a command TO the bond,

But I think I may have found what I need, here:

Bond Hex Codes for Third-Party Control Systems (BETA) – BOND Home

Sweet! I hadn’t seen that. Thanks for linking!
