I am very interested in your setup as I am also looking at using the Levitate shades. Are you using the standard shade motor (not any of the smart motors) and 9 channel remote to program your bridge? Which bridge do you have? Thanks for any help.
I already have a Bond Bridge (second generation with the ZZ Bond ID) for ceiling fans, and I’m looking at getting two SmartWings roller blinds for the same room. I’m excited that I’ll be able to control them via the Bond Bridge instead of needing to pay for the Matter Motor over Thread on both.
I’m using Bond’s HomeKit integration, and I’m wondering if the Bidirectional Dooya (which I see in Add a New Device) interface will report the shade’s position back to Bond and through to HomeKit so I’ll be able to see the blind’s position.
Can anyone using SmartWings with Bond (and preferably with the HomeKit integration) confirm?
I’m not going to claim to be an authority, but no, SmartWings via RF is not going to report back anything. If you adjust the shade outside of Bond, Bond won’t know about it.

if u use the SmartWings remote, the state wont update.
however, if u use Mate or Sidekick it will.
Hmm. I’m thinking that I’ll only be using Bond to control the SmartWings. I assumed the information could come back through the Bond to HomeKit because of what I saw in a Google search of the Dooya bi-directional protocol.
“Dooya bi-directional systems use two-way radio communication (typically FSK modulation with DD-series remotes like the DD2702 or DD1602) to send and receive real-time feedback—such as exact positioning, percentage-based opening levels, and motor status—unlike older unidirectional DC-series systems.”
I could understand if Bond can’t see responses sent to another remote control if it isn’t a part of that conversation.
