Does Bond support Apple Homekit? Someone on another forum said it does, I can’t find any mention on the website or product pages. I would like to understand before ordering a Bond (not Pro). Thanks

Only for Shades, and only in beta. (Bond Bridge + Homekit integration (via Homebridge) - #6 by merck)

HomeBridge plugins seem to be the way for most folks.

Interesting thanks! Where can I find more info/documentation/limitations on it? I have some follow up question I hope it’s ok to ask here let me know if it’s best to ask in the other thread instead.

  1. Looks like it’s beta for over a year, is it still under development ? Would you eventually fully support it and expand it to other devices as well?
  2. I have 3 Somfy RTS rolling shades on windows and 4 Somfy RTS Awnings in the balcony. Will the Awnings work too maybe as shades?
  3. How do I setup/pair it?
  4. Are the original remotes still functional?
  5. What is the range?

I don’t use it myself (and disclosure for clarity: I am not Bond staff).

But the Bond team has indicated there are blocks for expanding HomeKit beyond where it is unfortunately:
