I recently bought a fan for the office “Artika Austin 23” LED Fandelier" a new featured one at Costco. It’s learns the signals then is unable to broadcast the correct signals for it to operate consistently.
the remote info is as follows:
FCC ID:2AUHG-FAN-SUR2
IC:21811-FANSUR
REM-ARTC-1
It has a power button toggle. A fan state with 3 speeds. A light on and off and a color temperature up & down. for /rev state. light dimmer up /down. timer 1hour or 4 hour.
I got a few commands to record but not all of them.
I’d like to second this request as I almost pulled the trigger on purchasing this same fan from Costco the other day. Help off until I could verify it would work with Bond properly. Thanks @rossbaraz for putting in the request with all the details.
I was just looking at this “fandelier” and came to see if it was supported. Being fairly new to Bond, can someone comment on how likely it is that this will become supported, and/or a time frame for this? I will not buy it unless there is support for it.
I purchased the fan above from Costco and was not able to set up the remote as easily as some of my other fans. I opted to only get the light, timers, fan off, fan reverse, and three fan speeds connected. For the light I used the toggle bottom button. Make sure to use fan off and not fan on or toggle. With these settings I was able to use the bond bridge to control the fan. For all of the other settings (dimmer, color warmth) I decided to just maintain my remote for that since I don’t plan on changing those. Hope this helps.
Having the same issue, I attempted to use the toggle bottom light function as well as and the function for the fan, but nothing seems to work. I believe there might be rolling codes from another post I saw.
How did you get the basics to work? I can’t even get that far. I can see that the single is recognized when I try to use any of the controls even the basic ones on off and speed controls. It simply doesn’t work. I honestly would be happy and satisfied if I was able to even get that far. Once integrated into Home Assistant, I will bring it to HomeKit to use with Siri and basic on off or set speed to one, two, or three would be perfect. I used the bond bridge with other ceiling fans, but for whatever reason this one just simply won’t work.
You are also welcome to share the Bond ID right here in-thread. It’s the serial number from the bottom of your Bond Bridge, it should start with Z. — I don’t see any privacy issue there. Just don’t share your “token”.
