Hello---- I know there is a way to do this, but I seem to have reached a brain block. I have two Dooya motor roller shades, and I’ve set them up for my Bond controller to operate each shade independently using the “Dooya bi-directional” option when setting up each shade. However, I haven’t figured out how to operate both shades at the same time with the Bond controller.
Am I missing something? Or is this not possible with Dooya shades?
Thanks, Merck! I’ve just established the group, and it’s all working properly within the Bond app. However, I can’t seem to get Alexa to operate the group, which shows up in the Alexa app as “device is unresponsive”. Yet I have each individual shade working in Alexa just fine. Any ideas?
Thanks again for pointing me to the Groups option. I hadn’t previously used Groups.
Okay, so I wasn’t able to create a device in the Bond app for both of the Dooya motors, so I just created a group in the Alexa app and all is good now.
Ok fine if that works for you. However you will notice the motors do not start at the same instant.
If you want to fix that, you can create a Scene in the Bond Home app and have the Scene activate your Group that includes the two Devices. — Alexa will see the Scene from Bond. Alexa does not support importing Groups from other systems directly.
I finally had some time to work on this again. I found the scenes created in the Bond app at the bottom of the devices list in the Alexa app. I then figured out that I needed to create Routines in the Alexa app using the scenes imported into the Alexa app from the Bond app.
All is good now, and the shades move at the same time using the voice command routines.
